Questions about Account Manager pay
How much does a SaaS Account Manager make?
In live job posts, SaaS companies publish a median range of $165k – $215k for Account Manager roles (United States), a midpoint of $190k. Most published ranges fall between $131k and $289k.
Where does this salary data come from?
Only from pay ranges that companies publish in their own job posts, which we read hourly from their hiring systems. We don’t use surveys or self-reported salaries. Hourly and monthly rates are left out, and each figure is a median, so one unusual posting doesn’t move it.
Does this include bonus, commission or equity?
Usually not. Most published ranges are base salary; sales roles often add commission (on-target earnings), and many companies add equity. Check each posting for what its range covers.
Why are most figures in US dollars?
US pay-transparency laws in states like California, New York, Colorado and Washington mean most published ranges are for US roles. Where enough UK, European or Canadian posts publish pay, they are shown separately by currency.
