Most B2B websites are not underperforming because they look dated. They are underperforming because the marketing team cannot change them. A page needs a developer, the developer is in a sprint, the campaign ships without a landing page, and the site quietly stops being an asset.
The agencies below solve that in different ways, and the difference matters more than the portfolio. Some are Webflow specialists who hand your marketers a component system they can run without engineering. Some build composable, headless stacks for companies whose content operation has outgrown a single CMS. A few are studios where the point is craft — the launch experience, the 3D, the thing people screenshot — and conversion is somebody else's job.
Most mid-market B2B builds land between $30,000 and $100,000 for strategy, design, copywriting, development, SEO setup, content migration and post-launch support. Webflow-first agencies often start lower, from roughly $10,000 to $25,000 for a focused marketing site, and several offer monthly retainers from around $900 to $5,000 instead of a lump sum. Enterprise and composable builds run well above that range.
Plan for 8 to 16 weeks end to end for a typical B2B marketing site: roughly 2 to 4 weeks of strategy and information architecture, 3 to 6 weeks of design and copy, and 4 to 6 weeks of build, QA and launch. Enterprise migrations with hundreds of CMS items and multiple locales commonly run 3 to 6 months.
Webflow suits marketing teams that need to publish independently and value speed over deep custom logic. WordPress still makes sense where you have heavy plugin dependencies or an existing editorial workflow that works. Composable and headless stacks — Next.js with Sanity, Storyblok or DatoCMS — earn their extra complexity when you are running many sites, many locales or content that has to syndicate to more than one front end.
It can, and that is the single largest risk in the project. Protect against it by insisting on a full URL inventory and exact-match 301 redirect map before launch, preserved metadata and structured data, Core Web Vitals measured against the old baseline, and Search Console monitoring for at least 30 days afterwards. Agencies that do this routinely will offer it before you ask.
Usually yes. Splitting them is the most common source of a build that does not match the design and a site nobody feels accountable for. The exception is when you have a strong internal design team and only need a development partner — several agencies here specialise in exactly that Figma-to-build handoff.
