At Greenhouse, you’ll join a team that collaborates purposefully, fosters inclusivity, and communicates with transparency and accountability so we can achieve our mission.
Join us to do the best work of your career, solving meaningful problems with remarkable teams.
Greenhouse is hiring our first-ever VP, Product Marketing. You’ll serve as the commercial engine between Product and Revenue and own how Greenhouse’s products are positioned, packaged, launched, sold, adopted, and valued. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and works closely with the Chief Product Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and senior leaders across Product, Marketing, and Customer Growth & Success (CGS).
You’ll establish offer strategy as a core discipline, shape Greenhouse’s category and AI narrative, lead go-to-market for both our employer and job seeker audiences, and build a high-clarity, outcomes-focused Product Marketing organization. As a member of Greenhouse’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will drive measurable outcomes aligned with our annual and long-term strategy.
Who will love this job
- A builder — you’ve created teams, capabilities, or operating models from the ground up, and you turn ambiguity into clarity
- A commercial strategist — you think in buyers, offers, packaging, and business outcomes
- A narrative architect — you build a compelling, well-reasoned story and hold your point of view with conviction in front of executives, analysts, sellers, and customers
- A mobilizer — you influence senior executives as an equal, create productive friction, and mobilize cross-functional teams toward shared outcomes
- An AI-native operator — you use AI daily in your own work, you’ve changed how your team operates because of it, and you can speak credibly to what that shift actually required
What you’ll do
- Own Greenhouse’s company, category, product, and AI narratives, including Analyst Relations as a strategic business and perception program
- Establish offer strategy as a Product Marketing discipline — define what we sell, to whom, and how it’s packaged across tiers, bundles, add-ons, and segments
- Lead go-to-market strategy for both our employer and job seeker audiences
- Build a disciplined, tiered launch process that ensures every release receives the right level of strategic and market support
- Partner with the CRO and Revenue leadership on sales readiness to drive sales readiness on launched products
- Lead and develop the Product Marketing team, and build the operating rhythm
- Grow Competitive Intelligence into an Insights function spanning market and customer intelligence that offer strategy decisions depend on
- Partner across Product, Pricing, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and CGS to connect product decisions to market needs and commercial outcomes
- Establish Product Marketing’s measurement system: use market perception, launch impact, adoption, customer value, retention, and offer performance to guide decisions
- Additional projects and responsibilities as business needs require
You should have
- Experience leading Product Marketing as the top PMM executive in an enterprise B2B SaaS company of $150M+ ARR
- A proven track record of building an offer strategy, packaging, or commercialization discipline — not just operating one someone else designed
- Evidence that your packaging or offer decisions measurably moved revenue, adoption, or customer value, and the ability to speak to what you changed, why, and what happened
- Strong evidence for great people leadership and stakeholder management.
- Experience shaping a narrative that shifted perception with analysts, buyers, customers, or an entire category, with commercial impact you can point to
- Firmly commercial, deeply product minded, and fluent in how Product, Engineering, and Design build and bring products to market
- Demonstrated AI fluency through daily use, with measurable changes to how your team works and a practical understanding of AI-powered products
- Experience with two-sided marketplaces, B2B2C businesses, or products serving both enterprise and consumer audiences — highly valuable
- Your own unique talents! Your background has given you a unique perspective and set of transferable skills that aren’t always in alignment with a given role – but those are qualities we value at Greenhouse. If you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications outlined above, we still strongly encourage you to apply
