About the Role
Every brand Attentive works with runs on a stack of marketing and commerce tools, and they expect Attentive to connect to all of them. Our Data Platform team is building toward a future where connecting to any system in a customer’s Martech stack doesn’t require a long roadmap or a long engineering queue. Instead, AI agents build integrations and ship them to production on demand.
As a Product Management Intern on the Data Integrations & Platform team, you’ll help make that future real. You’ll work on two connected problems. First, you’ll own the prioritization of which integrations we pursue and secures everything we need to build them: partner approvals, API and developer documentation, and sandbox environments. Second, you’ll help design an autonomous agent that automates that pipeline, along with a context layer that becomes the source of truth for every integration we build, so each one is easy to support and improve over time.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. Your work will directly shape how quickly Attentive can say “yes” to a customer’s integration request.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Build and prioritize a backlog of integration opportunities across the martech ecosystem, using customer demand, partner ecosystems, and strategic fit to decide what we pursue next.
- Own the partner acquisition workflow end to end: submitting to partner programs, tracking approvals, and managing the long lead times so that integrations are never blocked on access.
- Gather and organize the inputs our integration agents need to build: API documentation, developer resources, and test environments for each target system.
- Design and prototype an autonomous agent that automates partner onboarding and information gathering, working alongside engineers and AI tooling.
- Define the structure of a context layer that serves as the source of truth for every integration, capturing what we know about each partner’s APIs, auth models, constraints, and environments, so integrations can be supported and upleveled over time.
- Measure what’s working, such as time from request to access, backlog coverage, and agent success rate, and use it to improve the process and the agent.
Your Expertise
- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- Interest in product management, APIs, and the AI agent space, and curiosity about how software systems talk to each other.
- Comfort reading technical documentation and getting oriented in an unfamiliar API, even if you’re not a full-time engineer.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, whether through coursework, side projects, or prior internships. Building or prototyping anything with LLMs or agents is a plus.
- Exceptional organization and follow-through. This role involves managing many external processes with long timelines and keeping them all moving.
- Clear written communication and structured thinking. You can turn a messy, ambiguous problem into a plan others can act on.
You’ll get competitive perks and benefits, from health & wellness to equity, to help you bring your best self to work.
